Just a quicky sketch I did a while ago of one of my friends. I noticed that he has the exact same face and hair that I imagined Jason Grace from the Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan. Jason was one of my favorites, I just wanted to give him a hug and a cup of nectar and tell him everything was going to be okay.

I figure this is during the time Han is traveling alone back to the Clans after leaving Oden’s Ford and just before entering the canyon. I adore this boy, really I do. I could just wrap him up and put him on my shelf where I could just stare at him all day long. Stop judging me.

Whispers to Me that You are Gone

Super Speed drawing, done in about 5 min with a Home Depot construction pencil, so no eraser. 

Thought I could use some practice.

I felt like I was channeling Katniss the entire time, She just was so strong and yet looked so alone. So I figure this is Katniss when she’s alone in her room and alone with her thoughts

Inspired by the song “If You Want Me” by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova from the movie “Once”

I love these two. I have no idea who they are but I am addicted to them so I will continue drawing them until I get bored. Maybe I’ll give them names.

I was even using a screenshot from Ferris Beuhler’s Day Off. I was definitely channeling that movie. I love it way too much

Self-Portait in Dress

This is my sister’s work.  She used to draw a lot, but hasn’t had time lately.  Then one of her horseback riding students asked her to draw a picture for her.  This is what she came up with.

The Blooded Queen

Pencils, 40 minutes

A character my friend created for me. (no that’s not my actual name, dolts, it’s the character’s).

She’s set in the Regency era, all Jane Austen like. I’m already in love with her little fic, it’s adorable. And my character gets to reject a man. Very fun.

I’ve decided I really need to stop looking at and loving Burdge’s art. Her style gets all wrapped up inside my head and that’s all my pencil will draw. However, my hair is different than hers, thank heavens.

First drawing/sketch-out of a picture I promised I would do for a friend. I was taking stalker pictures at a conference and got a really great one of him. Of course, I promised both myself and him I would attempt to draw it. This is the first attempt.
